Of Italian-Canadian heritage, Ida spent her early years learning about the shoe business at her father’s shoe store on St. Clair Ave West (Corso Italia). Ida further developed her creativity and business sense at Ryerson University, studying fashion design then going on to run successful bridal fashion and corporate promotion companies.
Giving Back to the Community
Generously supporting her friends, family and community whenever she can, you can usually find Ida par- ticipating and attending charitable and fundraising events across the GTA, including the Ladies Auxiliary of the CIBPA, VCL Ladies Auxiliary, CBAO - Calabrian Benevolent Association Ontario, De La Salle College GALA, Women Entrepreneurs of Canada, St. Clare's Parish, Cancer Relay for Life, Ride for the Heart in Vaughan, Run for the Cure, Thalassemia Foundation, Vaughan Hospice, etc. From 2012-14 Ida served as Captain of Team Vaughan in the Cancer Relay for Life campaign, raising over $35,000.00 for cancer research.
